Chicken Cooperative is an animation, media, and entertainment cooperative. We specialize in various media such as animation (2D/3D) and video games. We are founded on basic principals such that art should be made by humans and that art should be both well compensated, and ethically produced.

We believe that education should be not a privilege but a right. We believe that great art can come from anywhere.

We not only frown upon crunch as a culture, but actively outright reject and ban crunch within our cooperative studio. As such, an internal studio ethos and motto is "Its done when its done."

This motto and ethos influence not just the speed of our work, but the quality of it. In our opinion, it makes our work significantly stronger and filled with more heart when its not rushed in the oven.

But this ethos doesn't just mean a rejection of crunch, but a rejection of capitalist ideals such as all the cream should flow to the top. In Chicken Cooperative, any art that is created is owned by its creator, not a studio.

We believe that the best material (writing, music, gags, code) come from a place where creators have their needs met, are given the time necessary to not cut corners, and are allowed to put their entire heart into what they're creating.
